I wrote the last post a few days ago…
Today, at my chiropractor, he detected 9 trigger points. They were not there when I wrote the post… puzzling? yes and no.
When I looked at what could have happened, I saw 2 things:
1. This week I suddenly started to drink tea with milk again. I had laid them off a while ago, but I forgot why. Obviously either the tea, the milk, or both are guilty in bringing back the trigger points.
I am done with tea and milk… the question is, what is going to remind me why I stopped to enjoy two of my favorite beverages.
2. Whenever I have an accomplishment and I share it, I experience an almost instant relapse… it can be about health, relationships, or money… same exact scenario repeats itself: I speak of the accomplishment with a certain pride and a sense of awe. The result stops or even goes back to the starting point. I feel like Sysyphos from Greek Mythology, who stole the Gods’ fire to benefit all of humanity, got caught, and and got sentenced to a life of ineffective actions: he had to roll a huge boulder to the top of a hill only that it rolled back once he went to take his daily rest.
This whole topic of jinxing my results with speaking deserves a post, maybe posts independent of any specific topics, so maybe I’ll do that in a day or two. In the meantime, have you checked out the products I have recommended?
